The 4th of July!!!

We started out the day with a big breakfast at our house. We invited some friends and Grandma and Grandpa came too. The breakfast was delicious!! French Toast Croissants was the winning item.... wow!!! It was yumm-O!!! You have to try making it the next time you want to impress someone. We used Costco's Croissants and then made the batter as usual. Cut the croissants in half and then dip and cook. My little secret for french toast is to sprinkle regular sugar on top right before it hits the griddle. It actually makes it more crispy....and of course more yummy.

That night we went to see Miley Cyrus. I'm sure many blogs around town say the same thing. There were over 70,000 people there. It was fun though. We parked far enough away that the 15 minute walk to our car after it was over helped us not be stuck in traffic for hours. We tried to get a hotel however .......as you can imagine...they were all sold out. The fireworks were amazing. You think fireworks are just fireworks. However they were better than we have ever seen before. Scott and I went to Lake Tahoe one year on the 4th.... and they were fun to see over the water... but really this year took the lead in the best fireworks show ever.
The Blue Man Group also performed. Although I'm sure they are better in Las Vegas in a smaller setting.
