Sunday Update....
Today we had our first snow of the season....oh wait its fall. You know what I mean. It was a nice change though. We were in Florida 10 days ago and it was 85 degrees here and there. Today Scott is in Florida where it is still 85degrees and we have snow here.
Tomorrow they will try to take Margie off the ventilator. We love you Grandma. Thank you everyone who has called to let us know they are praying for her. We really hope she will be able to breath on her own.
Well I am finally starting to not feel sick. I still don't have a much of a voice....what i have sounds like a chain smoker......very attractive, i know. Since the Utah vs Oregon game last Thursday I have had a sore throat that I swear turned into bronchitis. It was horrible! Madison has had it and now Alexandra has it. This was also one of the reasons we didn't go to Florida yesterday. uuughhh!

Louie!! Louie!!
What a game last night!! The best part of the game was the final minutes as Utah beat Oregon. I have no voice today because of the game. Madison said to me, "Mom if you lose your voice anymore you're going to have to talk in sign language!" She is so funny! Go Utes! Go Louie!

Our Vacation
We are finally back home after our trip to Florida and Georgia. I can give you some highlights of our trip...... once again my blog is a travel log. hmmmmmm. Maybe if I add photos it wont be so boring. Really we loved visiting with both sides of Scotts and my family during the past week. After Grandpa birthday a few of us went over to Darrin's golfing range/put put and batting cages. We spent the afternoon with Ryan, Carson, Kevin, Tim and Alexandra playing miniature golf. Picture a golf range in the middle of a cotton field. It really is in a beautiful setting. The cotton is just getting ripe, its my favorite time to visit Georgia.
Scott's first thing to do when we drive anywhere in the south is to stop at a gas station and buy boiled peanuts. It's definitely an acquired taste. Anyways... I try a couple and then remember peanuts are much better crunchy not soggy.
Before we left Georgia we made our trip into Savannah. We met Kacey and Cheryl there on river street. Went to dinner off the touristy street, however the restaurant wasn't that great. The company was the best part of the whole night. Lindsay, Laney and Amanda came with us and kept Scott and I laughing all night. They are very cute girls. Amanda has come with us to Statesboro the last 3 or 4 times we have gone. She really needs to come visit us in SLC!!! oh we did go to a Civil War fort just outside of Savannah, it was like any other fort..... old.... and a little spooky as we were the last ones to leave before they locked the doors for the evening.
The best part of the whole trip was staying at the beach for 2 nights. The weather was perfect in the 80's not much humidity if any. The hotel had a great pool but the beach was steps away...who can say no to that? Madison once again had us laughing at her. We said as we left Statesboro that we were driving straight to the hotel on the beach. We had told the girls that our hotel would be right on the sand. Well the drive is about 2 1/2 hours long and we stopped for lunch on the way. When we got off the freeway we made a wrong turn and was turning around in the parking lot of a motel that had pink doors. As Madison looked at her window she stated in a very unhappy voice "I don't see any sand!" as if we had lied to her. Then she asked with just as much disgust, "why are the doors pink?" Scott and I couldn't help but laugh. Oh Madison you are so much fun.
