I feel recently I have neglected my family. I don't know where September and October went. We have slept in more hotels and other homes other than our own this fall. Its been an awesome college football season beginning with Utah beating Michigan. We watched that game from the San Diego airport waiting for our plane to Seattle. Aaron was speaking in church that weekend just before he left for Brazil on his mission. Since then we have traveled twice to Florida. Scott has made that trip 3 times in the last 30 days. We celebrated my Grandfathers 90th birthday. Visited with Scott's mom in the hospital. Elated that she came home. We were saddened that she went back into the hospital. This time in the critical care unit, where she never regained consciousness. Margie Holsey passed away October 23, 2008. She was a young Mother and Grandmother of 62 years. Scott no longer has either parent living on this earth. He said he "feels alone."
The garden is wilted and lifeless. I missed planting bulbs this fall. I forgot to decorate my yard with my old cornstalks I grew all summer. Okay maybe I didn't forget, I ran out of time. Snow has already fallen at our house this month. I just keep thinking where did September go?

The Viewing
Tonight was Margie's viewing. She looked very nice and I think happy. She no longer has to sit in a wheelchair. She is no longer dealing with diabetes and shots. The flowers were beautiful. There were friends and family that came from all over to see Margie. We visited, laughed and had a really nice evening. Afterwards we came back to Patty and Morris's house for a late dinner. These southern women know how to cook! The only problem is .....I love to eat it.
