Ft. Lauderdale

The girls were off track...so we headed to South Florida and the Keys.

Firsts ....Is That A Word?

First blogpost of the year.... We took our first vacation of the year and oddly enough experienced a few firsts there also. On the flight to Ft. Lauderdale, I became sick for the first time ever flying. Oh...not so fun! Madison lost her first tooth! YIPEE! The tooth fairy was able to find her in Florida too! We visited the Florida keys for the first time. Scott and I enjoyed the drive (2 hours) although the girls kept asking if we were there yet....only to be disappointed when we said "this IS it". We were in Florida while they had their "deep freeze" we found the temp a balmy 65...and thought it felt wonderful!

My Dad, Jack Wach, passed away yesterday. He is no longer in pain. He went quietly and peacefully.

May we all learn to love one another and forgive.

New York @ Christmas!

We finally made it to NY as a family for Christmas this year. I posted lots-o pics to share. We were only there 2 short days...but packed in a lot of fun!

To begin....our room was not ready after taking the red eye flight and arriving @ 0600. This is how we passed the time in the lobby of the hotel. Please notice Scott's dismayed face as I promised over and over that I was sure our room would be ready when we arrived. (it wasn't....so thankful for unconditional love!)
