Alexandra's Baptism

Last Saturday Alexandra was baptized. She was baptized in the same font that Scott was baptized in and also his father. Alexandra has never met her Grandpa he died 1o years before she was born. This was a way to connect to him. We had family from Texas, Georgia and Florida that came to her special event. Robert and Courtney were taking a flight on AA Tuesday night, as they were getting ready to go to the aiport AA cancel thousands of flights. They deceided to drive the 17 hours from Dallas Tx. WE WERE SO HAPPY TO SEE THEM!! Aunt Chris gave a beautiful talk. She also made a quilt for Alexandra to alway remember the choice she made that day. We loved having the VanTassells there. Uncle Lane was our last minute go to guy. Thanks!!! Steve put together the program and made a beautiful collage of pictures of Alexandra for the cover.
We had a luncheon at Grandma Margies house. The weather was beautiful until the party ended, then the Florida rain started. We had over 40 family and friends that celebrated this day with us. We are blessed to be surrounded by them no matter where we are.
