San Deigo.....our unexpected So Cal Vacation.... minus Sea World.

So after spending 5 hours in the San Diego airport waiting for our connection.... we find out our flight is sold out. We spent our time making wishes in the fountain. Alexandra told me later that night that she wished we wouldnt make the flight and we would spend the night in San Diego. lol!

The girls were alseep before we made the 5 minute drive to Old Town to our hotel.

Can't pass up mexican food in Old Town! Hey.....Where is Eric Weddle???

Our site seeing included the koi at the hotel entrance and the San Diego Temple off the 5.

So the next day we got up and drove to Long Beach otherwise it was another night in San Diego. Check out the monks behind Madison.

The weather was beautiful and warm...actually hot! The girls asked if it was summer in California.

Lunch at The California Pizza Kitchen in the Las Vegas airport. Whewww. Because Sundance started this week all the nonstop flights were sold out. We had a 3 hour layover in Viva Las Vegas. Beware of flying standby...its always an adventure!
